Our suite of solutions integrates Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML) technologies into Smart Greenhouses equipped with our patented FarmShield IoT device. These innovations have significantly boosted crop yields and reduced costs, all fueled by sustainable solar energy.

Position Overview: Join Synnefa as a Sales and Marketing Attachee and immerse yourself in the dynamic realm of agtech sales and marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic marketing, sales operations, and customer engagement within a high-impact startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Assist in devising and executing sales strategies aligned with our technology offerings.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and follow up with potential clients.
  • Participate in client meetings, contributing to nurturing enduring customer relationships.

Marketing Initiatives:

  • Contribute to crafting and distributing marketing materials and campaigns that effectively communicate our mission and products.
  • Engage with online communities, manage social media content, and analyze engagement metrics to refine strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate promotional events and attend industry conferences.

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and understand customer requirements.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing and sales data to derive insights and propose areas for enhancement.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain records of sales and marketing activities, including comprehensive reports on customer interactions, market research findings, and campaign performance.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in agtech and a commitment to sustainable agriculture.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets, with familiarity with Microsoft 365 software.
  • Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment.


  • Location: Bishop Magua Centre, Ngong Road, with multiple field visits.
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday.


  • Monthly stipend: KES.15,000.
  • Contract Period: 3-6 months.
