Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare vouchers and committal documents following established rules and regulations.
  2. Record primary data manually and in computerized systems.
  3. Organize and maintain accounting documents for easy retrieval.
  4. Generate basic financial reports like bank reconciliations and ad-hoc reports.
  5. Issue and process invoices accurately.
  6. Ensure secure storage of accountable documents.
  7. Maintain primary financial records such as cashbooks, ledgers, and registers.
  8. Input invoices, payments, expense accruals, and other financial transactions into the accounting system.
  9. Reconcile accounts receivable and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
  10. Create supporting schedules for revenue account balances in financial statements on a regular basis.
  11. Assist with general office duties as directed by supervisors or senior management.

Academic/Professional Requirements:

  • Kenyan Citizen aged between 20 and 35 years.
  • Available full-time for the 3-month internship program.
  • Continuing student pursuing commerce, Business Administration, Business Management, CPA (ongoing/Finalist), ACCA, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and possesses strong communication skills.
