About the Role

Join Rift Valley Institute (RVI) as an Intern – Education Programmes and Forums in Nairobi, Kenya. This Internship position offers an exciting opportunity to support administrative, logistical, and communication activities in the Research & Development sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor course applications and payments, including issuing invoices and following up with applicants.
• Draft participant advisories and course reading materials.
• Respond to applicant inquiries and maintain participant contact sheets.
• Produce post-event data analysis and minutes for forums and meetings.
• Assist in preparing updates for the website and creating publicity materials.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for courses and forums.
• Contribute to marketing and promotion of courses and forums.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking expenditures related to courses and forums.

Requirements

• A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in a social science field.
• Eager to learn, flexible, and adaptive to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
