About the Role

Join Fresh Life as a Graduate Trainee in Corporate Finance in Nairobi, Kenya. This 1-year graduate program aims to equip graduates with work-ready skills, specifically tailored to sanitation impact work in informal settlements. Collaborate with different teams, conduct financial analysis, and assist in preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes (revenue/costs vs operational performance).
• Support the Corporate Finance team with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to identify areas of concern or improvement.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the finance committee.
• Generate ad-hoc reports as requested by the corporate finance team or other departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in relevant systems.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency in financial records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the corporate finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related course.
• Graduated within the last 3 years.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in active internship engagements or business ventures is desired.
• Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite; above-average Excel skills are an added advantage.
• Demonstrated proactivity and leadership in forums that build society outside the typical education system (e.g., AIESEC, Presidential Clubs, EMUN, Member Associations).
