Job Description

Join our team as a Teaching Assistant Intern and support lead teachers in delivering quality education to students. Under the guidance of experienced educators, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience for young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with lead teachers to develop and execute lesson plans across various subjects.
  2. Assist in lesson preparation by organizing materials and setting up equipment.
  3. Provide guidance and support to students, reinforcing instructions during class sessions.
  4. Evaluate and correct student work according to lead teacher’s instructions.
  5. Ensure student safety by assisting with transportation to and from school.
  6. Maintain discipline and monitor student behavior during classroom and non-classroom hours.
  7. Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student engagement and self-esteem.
  8. Support student independence and assist with daily tasks as needed.
  9. Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
  10. Provide assistance with student care activities, including feeding and toileting.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school certificate.
  • Certification in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) is preferred.
  • Teachers Service Commission (TSC) registration is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Patience and empathy for working with students.
